Abstract

Il classico scelto per questo numero è il testo introduttivo di Claudio Pavone al fascicolo monografico “La memoria e le cose” di «Parolechiave. Nuova serie di “Problemi del socialismo”»,  n. 9/1995, Fondazione Lelio e Lisli Basso. L'autore, nel presentare gli altri cotributi del fascicolo, articola una serie di importanti considerazioni sul rapporto tra la memoria e le cose. In particolare, pone il problema del valore che rivestono le cose che si reputano degne di essere conservate, chiedendosi anche come queste offrono un supporto alla memoria, individuale e collettiva, e in che misura ne condizionino il flusso.

Andrea Emiliani's paper "Le ose e la memoria" published in 1995, has been chosen for this issue. The author, presenting the other contents of that issue, proposes some important considerations on the relationship between memory and "things". In particular, it poses the problem of the value of things considered worthy of being preserved, asking how they offer support to the memory, individual and collective, and to what extent they influence its flow.
